What actually counts is in the contract. We work to keep the content accurate and current, but it is not a proposal, a legal opinion or a security report. Prices, deadlines and scope only count once they're written into a signed proposal. ### Content and responsibility Articles, comparisons and figures come with a cited source and date. Decisions made on them are yours; we're not responsible for outcomes when a third party applies an article out of context. ### External links We link to GitHub, the App Store, providers and sources. Each has its own terms, and we don't control what's on the other side. ### Forms By submitting a form you declare that the data is yours or that you're authorized to send it. Processing follows the privacy policy. ### What's not allowed Using the site to attack third parties, trying to take it down, faking an identity in the forms, or scraping the content to resell it. Good-faith security research is allowed and has rules at /security/. **IA** ### Agents can read llms.txt, JSON-LD, the sitemap and the feeds at /api/\*.json exist for that. AI crawlers are allowed in robots.txt. Cite the source when you reproduce it. **IA** ### Agents can act, with a brake The WebMCP tools fill in forms and return "awaiting human confirmation". A person clicks submit. Trying to bypass that violates these terms. ## Open-source software comes as is, and the license is the repository's. Seven products have public code and one is on the App Store. Each one's license is in the repository's LICENSE file or the store's terms, and that's what governs use, not this page. Licenses ### MIT and custom licenses Okami Agent, Okami Monitor and OkTally are MIT: use, modify and redistribute, including commercially, keeping the notice. The others carry their license in the repository. When in doubt, the LICENSE wins. Warranty ### No warranty, support by contract The software is provided as is, with no warranty of fitness for a purpose. Support, SLAs and timed fixes exist for consulting and managed-services clients. App Store ### Okami Tally Distributed by Apple under the standard App Store EULA. The app has no backend or telemetry, and purchases, when they exist, go through Apple. - **Free materials**: The SecOps Baseline and other materials are for your company's internal use. You may adapt and use them with your own clients; you may not resell or republish them as your own. - **Trademarks**: OKAMI, OkamiOps, the product names and the wolf are OkamiOps trademarks. Citing them is fine; implying endorsement or partnership without an agreement is not. - **Contributions**: Pull requests on the public repositories fall under the project's license. Security reports follow /security/. ## Scope, timeline, SLA and confidentiality: all in writing, before we start. No service starts without an accepted proposal. It sets deliverables, timelines, fees, confidentiality, ownership of what's produced, and data processing. When something here and in the contract diverge, the contract wins. ### Proposal and acceptance A written proposal, with its validity stated in it. Acceptance by email or signature counts as a contract. ### Ownership of what we deliver Code, documentation and reports made under contract belong to the client after payment, except open-source components, which follow their own license. ### Confidentiality What we see in your environment stays in your environment. An NDA is part of the proposal and survives the end of the contract. ### Data under contract Managed services come with a data processing agreement (DPA), with controller and processor roles defined. ## The questions that always come up, answered once. - **Applicable law**: Laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. - **Venue**: The court of OkamiOps's registered seat, in Brazil, for use of the site. Contracts with EU clients may choose another venue, and it prevails. - **Limitation of liability**: For use of the site and the free products, we're not liable for lost profits or indirect damages. Under contract, the limit is the amount paid in the previous 12 months, except in cases of willful misconduct. - **Changes**: These terms may change; the current version is always this page, with the date at the top. Material changes for active clients are communicated by email. - **Contact**: contato@okamiops.com · OKAMIOPS · CNPJ 66.637.891/0001-08 **Can I use the open-source products in a commercial project?** Yes, within each repository's license. On MIT projects, just keep the copyright notice. On the others, read the LICENSE before shipping the code inside a product of yours. **Can I use the Insights articles and charts?** You can quote and reproduce excerpts with a link to the source. Republishing a whole article, or presenting it as yours, no. **Can my AI agent use the site to request a quote?** It can fill in the form through the WebMCP tool. Submitting needs a person's click: it's a security rule, not a technical limitation. **What happens if I find a flaw in a product?** Report it at security@okamiops.com following /security/. Good-faith research is welcome and covered by the safe harbor. **Do these terms apply to whoever hired me through OkamiOps?** No. Consulting, development and managed services are governed by the specific contract, which covers scope, SLA, confidentiality and data.
